Before we get started, I want to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Missie and there are so many ways I could describe myself. I'm a wife, my amazing husband Brian and I have been together since 2001. I'm a mom to two boys, Blake & Ian. I'm a nurse who works in a local hospital. I'm a travel agent who specializes in Cruises, Disney, and all-inclusive destination. I'm a certified diver who loves the ocean and the beauty of the sea. I'm a creative soul that loves making things to bring myself and others joy. I'm a woman who loves to help others, over the years I have volunteered in a variety of ways in my community from running holiday toy drives, to working with my kids at Give Kids The World resort, to being part of the medical crew for local races, leading a team for Relay for Life, volunteering with my son's high school marching band and so much more.

Here is what I'm not. I am not a model. I am not an influencer. I’m not perfect. My life is not perfect. So often when I search for travel information it is presented by picture perfect influencers. Every angle is staged. Every experience has been planned to maximize the earning potential of the poster. It can be hard to envision "real people" and "real families" having those same opportunities. My goal is to break that barrier. I want to share real travel. I want to inspire families to travel and see the world in a way that works for everyone, not just the rich, not just the famous, not just the perfect few!

My life is diverse, my interests are broad, and I’m a person always seeking to learn or do something new. Over the years I have had the opportunity to travel to some amazing places and along the way I have found true joy in the journey.

When I was a teenager, I wanted nothing more than to travel the world. In 2001 left my small town in West Liberty, WV to become a flight attendant for Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA), which later became Independence Air, and eventually went out of business. Being a flight attendant provided the opportunity for me to see and do things I had only ever dreamed of doing.

Along the way Brian and I got married and had a couple of kids. I went back to school to become a nurse and life just kept moving. Travel has always been a part of my life and my marriage. Brian also works in the travel industry as a commercial airline pilot, but he also worked at ACA back in the day.

Together with our boys we have explored some amazing destinations.
