My granny traveled until she was late 80s and a stroke made her unable to. I got the travel bug from her. I live in the Appalachian mountains of WV, and I love them, coming home is like being hugged by the safety of those hills and hollers. I didn’t see the ocean until I was an adult and it was love at first sight. In 2017 I changed career paths and became a travel nurse. After finding myself divorced and children grown I started seriously traveling. A lot of that being just me and my dog. I have come to love solo travel, but I’ve also got some of my friends who love to go on trips with me. That developed into becoming a travel advisor. I’m the friend who makes all the plans and everyone else just hands me their money.
